Hi – a warm welcome to all the Foundation Dentists checking out our web site.  Malcolm and myself (Practice owners) would like to tell you a little bit about our practice and look forward to meeting you should you choose our practice.

West Auckland Dental Practice was set up in 1997 by myself (Francesca Brown – GDC 113119) and my husband Stephen Brown.  Initially we had one surgery in number 26 then over the years after purchasing adjacent buildings have extended to give us 7 surgeries, a two room decontamination suite and a beautiful staff room enough to accommodate everyone.  Malcolm Ellis joined us in 2013 as a Partner with my husband and upon his retiring in 2017 I became a Partner with Malcolm.

We are completely paperless using signature pads in all surgeries and on reception.  We have RVG instant       x-rays in every surgery .  We have an OPT machine.  We have several rotary endo systems to suit your preference. We do Invisalign and Implants.  We have Denplan and are about to also offer Practice Plan.

Some of our staff have worked for us for over 20 years and are a lovely friendly bunch.

We have lots of social events including many baking competitions.  (We have some very good bakers)!

Our practice is on the A688 near to the A68 and A1.  We have been a training practice for over 20 years and this current year we have 2 Foundation Dentists. All nurses are well used to working with FD’s and many have extra skills.

Due to maternity at the end of this year we will also have a position available for an FD who would like to stay in the area.

We hope this information helps you in deciding where you would like to do your Foundation Training, our Associate Matthew Wood will be the Trainer this year and has much experience as a Trainer and has worked here for many years.
